What makes PURE different?
We know that switching your dog food is a big deal. At PURE, we use ingredients you know and can see. While other “fresh” dog foods are made in industrial food processing facilities and shipped from warehouses across the country, our premium meals are gently cooked and mixed by hand in our independent commissary kitchen in Southern California.Where is PURE Dog Food made?
Everything is handcrafted in our commissary kitchen in Culver City, CA.Do you ship nationwide?
Yes! We ship using FedEx Overnight. Shipping rates are calculated during checkout.Is there a minimum order for local delivery?
Free local delivery is offered on all orders over $75 in the LA area within a 20 mile radius of our Culver City facility.When will I receive my delivery?
Deliveries are made on either Wednesday or Friday of each week depending on your desired day selection upon checkout. Delivery window is from 9am to 8pm. The day of delivery can always be changed via your account page.Do I have to sign up for a subscription?
No. Unlike other pet foods that require a long-term commitment, we give you ultimate flexibility to order as needed! Just look for the frequency drop down when selecting your items and chose the “one-time” option.How do I cancel?

Is PURE suitable for all dogs?
All breeds ages and sizes can eat PURE. If your dog has a health condition or specific dietary needs, we always suggest it’s best to ask your vet if this food is a good fit.Are there any preservatives in PURE?
None! We don’t put in anything that you wouldn’t want to eat. We only use the best ingredients to ensure your dog’s best health.Where else can I buy PURE?
You can purchase PURE at any Erewhon Market and Healthy Spot location. Additionally, you can find PURE on Instacart and Uber Eats.Can my cat eat this food?
We do not recommend feeding PURE Dog Food to your cat. PURE is specially formulated and balanced to provide optimal nutrition for dogs. With that said, cats may enjoy any of our Treats as they are good for both dogs and cats. -
How It Works
How do I transition my dog to PURE?
Transition is easy! We suggest going slow and gradually introducing PURE to your dogs’ diet. Add a little at a time to your dog’s current food while reducing the amount of previous food used. This should take 3-5 days if you are already feeding a fresh whole food diet. If you are currently feeding kibble, we suggest transitioning over the course of 7 days.How do I serve PURE to my dog?
Serving PURE couldn’t be easier. Defrost as needed, scoop and serve, Once defrosted, the food will last 5-7 days in the refrigerator.Does PURE Dog Food need to be refrigerated?
Yes, our food needs to be refrigerated and lasts about 5-7 days. It can remain frozen for up to one year.Does PURE Dog Food have to be rehydrated?
No, it does not. Our food is frozen fresh, so all you need to do is defrost and it’s ready to serve.Do I need to cook anything?
All of our food is fully cooked and ready to serve after it is defrosted.Since this is Human-Grade food, do I need to add a dog vitamin supplement?
No. We mix in a canine-specific vitamin supplement to all of our recipes to ensure your dog receives optimal nutritional value from our meals.My dog has a sensitive stomach. Are these meals easy to digest?
Our gentlest recipes are our Turkey Tried & True and Quinoa Clean Chicken. These are specifically formulated to be gentle on the digestive tract.Do you offer grain-free dog food and dog treat options?
Yes, we have two grain-free food options and three grain-free treat options! Please visit our product page for more details.What is a serving size?
We recommend feeding 1 cup per day for 10lbs. If your dog is 30lbs they would get 3 cups per day and if your dog is 5lbs they would get .5 cups per day. We also recommend splitting the serving size into two portions per day.I’m not familiar with using pint and quart sizing. How many cups are in each?
Our pint size contains two cups and our quart size contains four cups.
